houston senior photographer | texas senior photographer bio picture
  • Hi there! Welcome to my little corner where I document my latest work and ramble about the things I love!

When I was a high school senior, I used the photography studio that my school was contracted with and ended up not very impressed with the results. They pulled out the same old back drop after back drop and all of my photos looked like the rest of my friends. Boo.

I want to give my seniors a full blown experience of something that is ONLY going to happen once! So let's do this right! I take care of my seniors and pride myself on giving them an awesome senior portrait experience! I want to give YOU what I never had... gorgeous senior photos that are as unique as you are!

    Here's a bit about me...

  • Amanda, 29, Huntsville, TX. Likes fashion, Grey's Anatomy, ice cream, the ocean, hoarding beauty products & pretty shoes, hair products (oh, the hair products), movie marathons, reading bed time stories, fashion magazines, celebrity gossip magazines (did I say magazines?!?!), wide open spaces, and laughing hard until her belly hurts. Wants an adventurous life, far off lands to travel, and to one day be in fashion magazines the world wide...(my photos, not me) Let's get started, shall we?

Rylee | The Woodlands High School

I had a wonderful time getting to know the beautiful Rylee! Rylee plays water polo for The Woodlands High School and will be going to A&M in the fall! We had a morning session and when I met her I was so super happy to see that Rylee chose a perfectly natural look for her make up and hair! All of my clients get to choose their own make up so no matter what look you’re going for, Tonya can achieve it! Just check out her perfect senior portraits!

Caitlin | The Woodlands College Park

Caitlin’s session almost didn’t happen on the day we had our shoot! The winds were INSANE and blowing trees down the night before so I was super nervous and even called to see if she wanted to reschedule but she believed in me enough to go ahead with the shoot and hope for the best! Wouldn’t you know it, the winds died down about thirty minutes into our shoot and the weather was utter perfection throughout the rest of our time together! She had so many amazing images in her gallery!

Here’s Caitlin and her mom’s review of their Amanda Holloway Photography experience!

“From the first workshop I did with Amanda as a junior, I knew I wanted Amanda Holloway Photography for my senior portraits. I had a blast working with her. She is one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. You can tell Amanda genuinely and truly cares about you and your session and makes you feel special for a day.

From the moment I got to the salon, Tonya welcomed my mom and I and made us feel like we’ve known her for years. It was such a fun experience getting my hair and makeup done. Usually when telling a stylist what I want for my hair and makeup, they never quite understand what I’m saying. Not with Tonya. Tonya understood completely everything I was saying and gave me everything I wanted and so much more. Then when Amanda showed up and we started choosing my outfits, I was so ecstatic seeing Amanda putting pieces of clothing and accessories together I would never even think of, and made it look so fashionable!
We then went and took my pictures in the coolest locations ever! We joke around and had so much fun doing it. By the end of the day, we didn’t just have my new senior pictures, we made a new friend!
Then the AMAZING pictures came. Words cannot describe my families excitement after seeing my pictures. These aren’t just any ordinary pictures, Amanda makes these portraits a lifetime memory that I can keep forever and look back and remember my senior year and tell my kids about it. I couldn’t of asked for a better photographer for my senior pictures, I highly and whole heartily recommend Amanda Holloway.”  -Caitlin, 2013 Senior
“Caitlin and I met with Amanda Holloway this past weekend for her senior pictures.  The day was a bit iffy as the wind was crazy with  up to 35 mph gusts .  Amanda called to make sure we still wanted to do it as she wanted the session to be perfect and for Caitlin to be comfortable.   Caitlin had confidence that the wind would eventually  cooperate and she was right!  I am so thankful Amanda asked though, as she wanted nothing but the best for the shoot.  POSITIVITY was the word of the day!!!  (Plus a few crossed fingers and  prayers!)

We could not have asked for a more relaxed, fun, and enjoyable shoot.  First off was hair and makeup.   Tonya Collum was the first contact on the day of Caitlin’s  AH Experience photo session.  You know what they say about First impressions!  They are everything!  She was so easy and enjoyable to talk with.  She is gem!

Amanda has this crazy ability to see beauty and opportunity in every space or environment. ( I would love to be able to visualize what she does when she looks at a potential shoot site)    She innately  pairs the the girls and wardrobe with such creative spaces to compose all these  amazing images.   To boot, she is an awesome stylist, she channels her inner Rachel Zoe and brings the outfits to life pairing them with accessories.  She is so easy to be around and makes the girls (and moms) feel like they have known her forever!   The  sneak peek images are wonderful and we cannot wait to see all of the images in the ordering session.  I would highly recommend any girl to consider Amanda  for their Senior photos!  We couldn’t be happier!

And we want to thank Megan, Amanda’s assistant.  She was so sweet and and easy going.  It was a pleasure meeting her.   Thank you to you and your team Amanda, for a wonderful shoot!” -Michele, Caitlin’s Mom

Whitney | Oak Ridge High School | Senior 2013

I had the BEST time photographing Whitney’s senior pictures! She goes to Oak Ridge High School in Spring, Texas and is such an amazing girl! Besides her fabulous red hair, she has a fabulous spirit to match! We laughed our entire way through her early morning session! Check out some of our favorite images from her session and her review below!:)

“My Amanda Holloway experience was much more than anything I could’ve asked for! Amanda does a fabulous job of making you feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera. Tonya (the phenomenal makeup artist!) and Amanda compliment each other and make the experience so enjoyable!
The locations Amanda takes you to are creative and look stunning with each outfit! The amount of care Amanda puts into each picture is outstanding and makes each shot a work of art! She is so talented and brings out the best in each person on camera.
I’m so happy I got to have this experience with Amanda and will definitely recommend her to all my friends! Amanda truly is the best at what she does. Thanks for making the experience so fun and memorable!”
