  • Hi there! Welcome to my little corner where I document my latest work and ramble about the things I love!

When I was a high school senior, I used the photography studio that my school was contracted with and ended up not very impressed with the results. They pulled out the same old back drop after back drop and all of my photos looked like the rest of my friends. Boo.

I want to give my seniors a full blown experience of something that is ONLY going to happen once! So let's do this right! I take care of my seniors and pride myself on giving them an awesome senior portrait experience! I want to give YOU what I never had... gorgeous senior photos that are as unique as you are!

    Here's a bit about me...

  • Amanda, 29, Huntsville, TX. Likes fashion, Grey's Anatomy, ice cream, the ocean, hoarding beauty products & pretty shoes, hair products (oh, the hair products), movie marathons, reading bed time stories, fashion magazines, celebrity gossip magazines (did I say magazines?!?!), wide open spaces, and laughing hard until her belly hurts. Wants an adventurous life, far off lands to travel, and to one day be in fashion magazines the world wide...(my photos, not me) Let's get started, shall we?

Aimee’s Session | Amanda Holloway Photography | The Woodlands Senior Photographer

This has to be one of my favorite sessions to date! The wardrobe was perfect, the location was AMAZING and the weather…. well…. it was a good 55 degress with a windchill of negative one billion. Heh. But seriously, IT WAS COLD!

Aimee is a Woodlands High School Senior and is also on the Varsity Cheer Team! She has committed to TCU in the fall next year! She is so funny and is such a natural in front of the camera! Check out her senior session and don’t forget to leave some love below!:)

This session is absolutely favorite of yours Amanda!! Amiee is beautiful, she will love these for a very long time and proudly show them to her children and then grandchildren (makes me think of the movie Titanic when they discovered the drawing of beautiful Rose and now older Rose says ‘wasn’t I a dish’)

Amanda… You are so amazing!!!! You are such an inspiration. I am so in love with every single image you post. I am in Wisconsin but I tell my husband constantly that the best gift ever would be to attend your workshop. Crossing my fingers :)

I was wondering if you could share who does your packaging, your products, such as your books, canvas’ and prints? I haven’t seen more professional looking products.

Thanks so so much!!!!!

Allyson’s Testimony | Amanda Holloway Photography | The Woodlands Senior Portraits

I absolutely loved the time I was able to spend with Amanda during my senior session. She made the process so enjoyable and made sure it was stress free. The minute Amanda saw my outfits, she knew exactly which one would look good with what type of hairstyle at any given location.  It was such a great experience that I would have gladly stayed outside taking photos all through the night. Amanda truly made me feel like a model and I would give anything to do it all over again. I would recommend Amanda Holloway Photography to any senior looking for that star treatment and an unforgettable experience close to home.  Thanks so much Amanda!    -Allyson

Thank you Amanda for an amazing day! You truly are the best in the business. I wish every senior could experience this. You have such an eye for details. Your photographic skills are outstanding and the quality of your pictures reveal that. You keep it lively and fun, but PROFESSIONAL is all over your work. Allyson is still smiling!    -Cindy  (Allyson’s mother)

Before and After | Amanda Holloway Photography | The Woodlands Senior Pictures

A lot of photographers from all over the nation e-mail me or message me and ask me about my editing process. They love what they see and to be honest, a lot of them ask me how much editing goes into the final product. Well… let me tell you: barely anything. Believe it or not, my editing process is fairly easy because I start out with a few key factors: 1) gorgeous girls who have professional air brush make up and hair, 2) good light 3) good locations and finally, 4) a good “straight out of the camera” image. That last factor is one of the most important. If you have a good image to work on, the work won’t be much.

I also think it’s important for my senior’s parents to know this as well. Fashion or model images and senior images are very different. I love taking a senior and showing her just how gorgeous she is. One of my favorite parts of a session is when I show my senior the back of the camera from one of my shots and they say, “WOAH! That is really good! I look so pretty!” BAM. That’s why I do what I do. Self esteem issues are an epidemic and if I can get through to one senior girl, then I’ve done my job.:)

Here’s some before (tops or lefts) and afters (bottoms and rights) from a recent session. I’m showing you this because I want you to realize that these girls are gorgeous on their own. I’m not doing anything to “fake” their beauty or “add” to their beauty. Nope… it’s all there before they ever have their portraits taken. Sometimes, they just need a little help to see it.;)
